I remember Gene would often belt out "Freely, Freely, you have received, freely, freely, give" at the end of a talk to students about forgiveness. The last time Laurie and I saw Gene at Frazier Meadows we sang that song together and it brought tears to my eyes. Gene and Gerri have freely given to so many people over the years. Through that, God has enabled us to freely, freely give - whether it is our time, our resources, or our forgiveness.
