I heard Gene speak at an inter-varsity retreat in 1979. He spoke for 3 days but it changed me forever.I was truly affected by his teaching of the book of Romans. He admonished me to read Romans every day for a year. It would change my life. His business that also supported people with special needs helped me to understand my daughter with autism much better from a spiritual perspective later in my life. Chad Squires
